The community aspect of our rugby club is key to life as a Cardiff Medic. We have post-game socials every Wednesday and some Saturdays following NAMS games. The annual Old Boys dinner is always a night to be remembered, as is Toga and Olympic socials are also unforgettable. We have joint socials with medics netball, hockey and football teams as well. We often go on tours, most recently going to Edinburgh and we will likely have one planned during your time at University. It is not just socials though we also do lots of charity work, for example last year we took part in the Cardiff half-marathon raising money for the Ted foundation and Alopecia UK, we raised over £1,850 for these two amazing charities. Welfare at Cardiff medics is similarly important to us with out very own Welfare secretary to keep an eye over you during your time at Cardiff. Our large network also provides great support during and after you time at university and offers great connections for when you fly the nest and begin your careers.
