The Cardiff Medics field two teams weekly, with both playing in BUCS and NAMS (National Medical Schools Cup) competitions. In BUCS our 1st VX playing in the Western tier 1 league and our 2nd XV in the Western tier 3 league. These leagues allow us to play at a very high standard every week; both our 1st and 2nd XV dominate University 1st teams and push for BUCS promotion yearly. We are the most successful Meds team in the country, with the most NAMS wins (21 of 29) and our dominance is shown in being the only team to have won the triple (1s, 2s and Sevens competition). We most recently did this in the 2022/23 season. We train twice a week on 4G and have a weekly S&C session run by our very own specialist S&C Secretary.
